Artistic Statement:

Chicago Moving Company is an award-winning modern dance company known nationwide for its concert work and groundbreaking educational programming. We bring dynamic, creative, and personal dance experiences to audiences and students. We are especially known for our in-school residencies - innovative programs, tailored to each school, that reach, involve, and educate the whole child (body, mind, and spirit). We provide professional, caring instruction: dance as a fine art, dance integrated with curriculum, the popular performance project (an inspiring student-created performance that can involve specific grades or the entire school community), and more. Our success stems from our wide experience and knowledge, love for what we do, and commitment to developing successful partnerships with school communities.
