Artistic Statement:

Through puppetry, story theater, and creative writing, my hands-on classes engender appreciation for grade-level literature and help students to develop social skills. With my teaching experience and background in the theater arts, I am prepared to lead a group into the world of theater using puppets made from accessible, low-cost materials. My goal is to act as a catalyst for teachers and empower them with the skills and enthusiasm necessary to carry on drama-based activities after I leave. I endeavor to help students and teachers realize and develop their artistic potential and abilities.
