The following programs have open deadlines.
Applicants can begin applying July 1 for projects that begin at least
eight weeks later. These matching grants support projects occuring between,
September 1 and August 31.
Special Assistance
Grants
These project-specific grants are available throughout
the year for specific artistic, programmatic, administrative, or technical
needs. Contact: appropriate IAC program staff.
Artstour
These grants are available throughout the year to
provide fee support to organizations that seek to present Illinois touring
performing artists for performances, master classes, and lecture-demonstrations.

For Schools! Quickstart
These grants allow a school/sponsoring school district
that is a first-time IAC applicant to host an artist working with teachers
and students up to six time during a six-week period. The program encourages
participants to develop new initiatived and relationships with artists.
These grants are only available for schools. Contact the Arts-in-Education

For Community Groups!
Short Term Artist Residencies (S.T.A.R.)
These grants are available throughout the year to
support interaction between professional Illinois artists and the public
through workshops, classes, demonstrations, and lectures sponsored by
not-for-profit Illinois organizations. Each residency can range from five
to thirty hours. The grants are only available for community based organizations.
