eGrant: Creating an Application

To create a new application:

  • From the Illinois eGrant Main Menu, select the appropriate application from the drop box that says “Select a Grant Type”.
  • Click on the “Create New Application” button to the right of the drop box.
  • A new application now appears on the main menu, followed by five action icons.

 

Click the Email action icon to send an email with questions about the application or Illinois eGrant.
Click on the Guides action icon to open up the application guidelines or final report instructions.
Click on the View action icon to view all the sections of the application at once, or to print a copy of the application and to view and print a copy of the certification page.
Click on the Edit action icon to start filling in the application, to make changes to an existing application, or to submit an application.
Click on the Delete action icon to delete an application that has not yet been submitted. Do not delete submitted applications or final reports..

Final Reports
Final reports are considered a phase of the Illinois eGrant application. If an application is funded, the final report phase will be added to the original Illinois eGrant application at the end of the grant period. The final report will appear below the original Illinois eGrant application.
