Illinois Arts Council Agency FY18 Program Grant Guidelines Available

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Organizations that submitted a Program Grant application for fiscal year 2017 and submitted the recently requested update, DO NOT NEED TO APPLY. The submitted update will be utilized as the fiscal year 2018 application.

For organizations that did not submit an application in fiscal year 2017, the fiscal year 2018 Program Grant guidelines are now available.

A Program Grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency (IACA) provides general operating or project support to eligible Illinois non-profit organizations for public arts programming of high artistic merit. The application deadline for fiscal year 2018 is October 2, 2017.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

  • The IACA is no longer partnering with DataArts (formerly known as the Cultural Data Project) and organizations will not need to submit financial data in the DataArts system in order to be eligible for funding. Financial data will be collected in the eGrant system. Applicants are required to provide three consecutive years worth of financial data, one of which must be fiscal year 2016.
  • The IACA will no longer be collecting hard copies of work samples. For the disciplines that require work samples, follow the instructions in the guidelines on submitting a link to online materials.
  • Applicants should verify that they are in compliance with all eligibility requirements including Illinois Not for Profit and 501c3 status prior to application submission.
  • IACA staff will conduct workshops on the application and review process. Participation requires advance registration; an archived version of the webinar will be available.
