the Artstour Program

The Artstour (AT) Program Roster is a resource for not-for-profit Illinois organizations such as libraries, park districts, arts and community organizations and schools interested in presenting high quality live performances or exhibitions in their communities.

For further information regarding the Artstour Program see the Artstour Program Guidelines.

About the Roster

Interested artists, companies and ensembles apply for inclusion in the roster and are juried by a statewide panel of arts professionals. They are evaluated on the artistic and technical quality of their work; their professionalism demonstrated through management, promotional materials and references; and the artist's demonstrated ability to tour.

Currently over 200 artists, companies and ensembles as well as visual and media arts exhibits are a part of the Artstour Artists Roster. The Roster artists present work in a variety of disciplines including Dance, Mime, Multi-Disciplinary Performance, Performance Poetry/Literature, Storytelling, Theatre and Traditional Ethnic and Folk Arts. Additionally, the Roster includes visual and media arts exhibits developed by Illinois arts organizations with a history of producing quality exhibitions.
