Attend the Illinois Arts Council’s (IAC) 16th Annual Artist Showcase! This event brings organizations and individuals interested in booking artist presentations together with Illinois’ wealth of professional artists.

Enjoy a full-day display of artistic activity, and explore opportunities to bring artists to your community. Interact with many of the world-renowned artists and performing companies listed on IAC’s Arts-in-Education and Artstour rosters. Discover how these artists' performances and residency programs can be tailored especially for your organization and specific population. Click on Participating Artists for more information on artists that will be present at Artist Showcase.

GRANT WORKSHOP

Attend an application workshop on IAC grant programs that partially support bringing a talented artist to your community. Learn about the Arts-in-Education Residency Program, Artstour, and short-term residency options.

HOLIDAY INN SELECT HOTEL AND CONVENTION CENTER

Artist Showcase will be held in the Convention Center at the Holiday Inn Select in Tinley Park from 8:30am-4pm on Friday, November 4, 2005. The Holiday Inn Select Hotel is easily accessible from I-80. For directions contact the hotel at 708/444-1100.

The Holiday Inn Select is offering a discounted rated of $95 per room to Artist Showcase participants, Contact the hotel by October 13 for reservations.

REGISTER EARLY

Register by October 21 to take advantage of the $25 reduced registration fee. After October 21, fax registration form to 815/963-8958, and pay $30 at Artist Showcase. Registration includes breakfast and lunch, and CPDU credits for qualifying teachers. Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued.
